Merry Christmas 2023 and Happy New Year 2024.

CLICK THE GREEN FLAG TO START!!!

This is a snowstorm project by Mr.May. I am a teacher at Pilgrim High School in Warwick, Rhode Island. Each year at this time, the students create a snowstorm using cloning in SNAP. My program has a Pi theme, which is not surprising to most people who know me. In this program hopefully you can hear the melody,
"Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas".
This song was written by Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane and introduced by Judy Garland in the 1944 MGM musical "Meet Me in St. Louis".

Mr. May played the guitar and recorded the track on Audacity, an open source free digital audio workstation (DAW).
I have lots of other music recordings on my youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@timmymaymusic

Hit the m key to see the musical credits in the program.
Hit Space bar to hear the music again!!

Here is a secret Easter Egg: Hit the p key to see a Pillgrim High School mascot. Then click and drag the Pilgrim ornaments onto the tree, just like the Pi Symbols at the top of the tree.

If you only use a touchpad or a phone to interact with this website, you may have trouble with "clicking and dragging" which is a mouse command. Just click on the Pi Symbol at the top of the tree, and hold the mouse button down, then release the mouse button, where you want to place the pi symbol.

Update: 2 of the snowflake shapes are original creations by students in my Geometry class. They used the Desmos graphing calculator to design the shapes as part of a different assignment in that class.
